This CME activity consists of the ASGE video, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection - A Comprehensive Learning Tool, followed by a post-assessment and evaluation.
This DVD provides a comprehensive learning tool for colonic EMR. A systematic evidence based approach will take the viewer step by step through the various aspects of the procedure. We outline the key components of pre-procedural patient assessment including indications and relative contraindications to the procedure. A detailed technical overview of lesion assessment, equipment and resection technique is provided. Multiple examples, different scenarios and expert tips to improve efficacy and safety are included. We discuss and thoroughly demonstrate the various complications associated with the procedure and show the management options. Finally, we cover current post procedural care and surveillance requirements.
This DVD will provide experienced endoscopists with the evidence base and therapeutic approach to select appropriate cases and perform safe and effective EMR in the colon.
