Description:

This CME activity consists of the ASGE video, Small Bowel Imaging, followed by a post-assessment and evaluation.

This DVD will allow viewers to understand the techniques, performance and limitations of current methods of small bowel imaging. Participants will be able to master the spectrum of small bowel pathologies and the specific algorithmic approach to the various conditions, such as obscured GI bleeding, inflammatory small bowel diseases, malabsorption, small bowel tumors and polyps.  

Target Audience:

Practicing gastrointestinal endoscopists, gastroenterologists, gastroenterology fellows and trainees, medical residents, physician assistants and nurses.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
•    Recognize the techniques, performance and limitations of current methods of small bowel imaging.
•    Describe the spectrum of small bowel pathologies and the specific algorithmic approaches to the various conditions; obscured GI bleeding, inflammatory small bowel diseases, malabsorptions, small bowel tumors and polyps.
•    Discuss the concept of advance small bowel endoscopic imaging.
