This CME activity consists of the ASGE video, Therapeutic EUS, followed by a post-assessment and evaluation.

This video encompasses many aspects of therapeutic ultrasound, covering established and emerging techniques. Topics discussed include celiac plexus interventions; drainage of pancreatic fluid collections; pancreaticobilary access and drainage; and therapy of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Target Audience:

Practicing gastroenterologists, gastroenterology fellows and trainees, medical residents, physician assistants and nurses.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of completing this activity, physicians will be able to:

     •Identify relevant anatomy as it applies to performing therapeutic EUS interventions.
     •Recognize the proper technique for performing various therapeutic EUS procedures.
     •Understand the evolving clinical role of the various therapeutic EUS procedures.
