Strictures of the upper digestive tract are encountered in clinical practice and can pose a challenge to the gastroenterologist. Endoscopic therapy has become first line therapy for benign and malignant strictures. This video provides practical recommendations regarding indications and techniques for endoscopic treatment of upper digestive tract strictures focusing on dilation therapy, stent therapy and incisional therapy.
